Focus of practice
Attorney Murray's practice centers on estate planning, with particular depth in the areas of revocable and irrevocable trusts, trust administration, special needs trusts, and estate tax planning. She works with families at every stage of life: putting a first plan in place, caring for a family member with a disability, and managing complex estates that require careful tax strategy. She practices in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Minnesota.
Background before law
Before earning her law degree, Attorney Murray built a career in international finance and journalism. She wrote for The Economist in Tokyo and worked as a financial analyst at State Street Bank. She then earned an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of International Business, one of the country's leading programs in global business. That financial and international background gives her an unusually practical lens for the estate and tax planning work she does today.

Attorney Murray holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College, a Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of International Business, and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Minnesota.

Attorney Murray is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, and the Essex County and Merrimack Valley Estate Planning Councils. She lives in Gloucester, Massachusetts, with her husband and an ever-growing collection of pets she adopted as her children left home. She has two young adult children.
